GRUB2 on UEFI

This works fine. You need your boot section configured like this:

{
  # ...
  boot = {
    loader = {
      gummiboot.enable = false;
      
      efi = {
        canTouchEfiVariables = true;
      };
      
      grub = {
        enable = true;
        device = "nodev";
        version = 2;
        efiSupport = true;
      };
    };
  };
  # ...
}
